Visible Justice: Collective Imaging and Imagining

To accompany its inaugural symposium on Saturday, 27 October 2018 at London College of Communication, the VISIBLE JUSTICE research collective is presenting four moving image works:

Larry Achiampong and David BlandyFF Gaiden (2017)

David Birkin, Charade (2018)

Edmund Clark, Oresteia (2017)

Helene Kazan, Under Multiple Suns (2018)

These films and videos demonstrate how the artists in the symposium are working across professional lines to examine the practical and ethical implications of their work and to test new forms of interdisciplinary cooperation.

In solidarity with the movement to free the photojournalist, educator and activist Shahidul Alam, recently imprisoned in Bangladesh, we are proud to exhibit a series of his black and white images which show his unswerving commitment to freedom of speech and human rights.
